SOMETHING THE LORD CREATED

Life would have been hard
It would have been very difficult to play your own part
The stage would have been a mess
If He would be up there taking rest
Living would have become a curse
Nothing would be worse
But to be alone…..
That would have made the world smother
Then He created
Mother and father
Mother, who takes you in your arms
When u feel doomed to failure
Father, who protects you from the lot
With all the valor
It’s when you are delighted
They are on cloud nine
And forgive you
Even when you acted akin to a swine
You cannot repay them
For if they weren’t there
You would have landed in a fen
They always get light into our lives
And save us from those damaging knives
For success, they’ve always been the key
They are my hero, that’s what I see.
